Welcome to the Hilltop!
The Hilltop Business Association of Davenport, Iowa exists to assist current businesses, help to foster new ones, and to provide unity to this rapidly growing area.
Last week's HCV Annual Meeting was a huge success, bringing together stakeholders from all aspects of the Hilltop. Ideas were flowing, and along with Main Street Iowa, we will be shaping a plan for the next 10 years based on input we've been getting. This Quad-City Times article summarizes the meeting very well, along with some of our recent successes. For the rest of the year we'll also be posting images celebrating 10 years of progress in the neighborhood!
Redband Coffee Development
It may be wintry and gray out, but there's still a lot of progress happening in the Hilltop Campus Village. Redband Coffee Company is continuing to renovate the building it's expanding into, while across the street a new retail tenant will be coming into 1228 Brady. In preparation, the building is getting accessibility, signage and facade improvements. At 12th and Brady, new street lights are going in near the future home of Upper Level Antiques. Demolition and grading continues near the Kwik Shop at Harrison and Locust, which will provide some excellent development opportunities.
